New Pop ups on Mobile Device

Max Steed's Avatar
Started getting the ad pop ups on Mobile device. I understand eccie is just trying to capitalize. I know we all need a little extra pocket change, However, I assumed once logged in that the pop ups would stop!!

Had no issue with it last couple weeks when it started but now I get continual pop-ups every time I select any page or thread regardless to if I'm logged on. Is there a glitch somewhere or is this just the new standard??

Makes perusing the site a pain in the ass..
Same here - totally sucks.
I find that if you get the popups they go away if you completely close the browser and pull the site right back up.

Edit to add that I use a Galaxy Note and Chrome as the browser.
Yes, I'll completely log out then back in. That will usually fix it temporarily. Droid turbo and chrome

I've never seen pop ups on my phone, but I also have the pop up blocker turned on. Check your browser settings on your phone to turn them off.

Pop up blocker is on. This is occurring when using the mobile version. The same pop-ups that show in the desktop version when not logged in. Now they show up on Mobile version and will periodically continue to pop-up while navigating site despite being logged in.

My pop-up blocker is turned on my cpu as well so maybe I'm stating it wrong by saying pop-ups, when they are ads.
+1 on Max's post. The ads that pop up are a seeking arrangement type thing and some other one. I'm using chrome on an iPhone. I've tried private browsing as well and the ads still appear. Any advice/help appreciated

I don't browse the site much on mobile, but I have seen them every time I've loaded it on my phone over the past few days.

The Ashley Madison affiliated sites such as hookups, trustedfling, hookupdatingsitereviews, and others still pop up on desktop and mobile regardless of my ad blocker settings. Even adding specific filters on my desktop I still get one or two a day while browsing. Dammed annoying I tell you what.

And it seems that I get quite a few sign-ups from those popups. I'd prefer to not be one of those popups, since it just annoys people (understandably), and costs me a ton of money. That's why I'm trying to switch to direct promos on my site. Hopefully people take advantage of the promos, I'd love to stop using popups.

Trusted fling I don't think people have a problem with your advertising but more so with members being logged in and receiving a pop up after every click while reading there mail.

I actually signed up to your site before the pop ups started here. I saw a few VP from here on there plus some other interests and thought why not.

To me the ads are not annoying, it's the log in >ad>new Orleans>ad>co eds>ad>weekend lineup>ad>independent review>ad>user profile>ad>check mail>ad... And that doesn't include the ads between every other click while viewing the threads under each category. This is happening to members logged on. Not guests..

That is what's annoying and a pain in the ass. But I'm finished with the subject as it appears that nobody whos in a position to do something has done anything to resolve the problem or at least address the concerns of the members who have voiced an issue with it.

Actually it seems that it's just me and "hookups.info", which appears to be a shill for ashley madison and "instabang" and some other sites which probably all go to the same place. I love how that link (which pops up all the time on many escort sites) actually goes out of its way to denigrate escorts. Lol.
