Dallas, what’s good??

Hey folks!

This is my first time exploring Dallas and I’m wondering what y’all think of the casino. Worth the drive?

I love poker and figured I’d head up there for a bit before I leave.

WinStar has a better poker room than Choctaw. There are daily tournaments and cash tables. There is a small high rollers room for the high dollar cash games. It can be a pretty rough crowd as far as play goes, so bring your A game.

Yes I agree Winstar is way better for Poker I myself Love making the drive to Winstar and it only takes about an hour from Dallas to get there.

winstar's high stakes crowd (if you can call 5-10 high stakes) is among the softest compared to rest of the country, socal, florida, vegas etc. yeah they're a rough crowd compared to 2-5 players but by-and-large it's a very soft room.

lizshue, just play tight in the beginning and open up your game after a couple of hours.

Yep Windstar is the better but take you a sweater because the temperature changes throughout the whole casino.

Oh also go by the members club desk and sign up for a player's card. You'll get emails and flyers in the mail about complimentary/discounted rooms!
