Oops my mistake. So many sites I got carried away. It doesn't look better either.

I registered on aspd in October 2000. ASPD then looked very much like ECCIE does now, just a few hundred members.They've had a ten year head start and have the depth of information and membership we don't.

We do think we have a nice alternative here and THANKS to all who have joined us and participated.

We made the framework of ECCIE, but it's the guys and girls of our community who will ultimately decide if we stay or if we disappear.

and lets not forget how many times ASPD went down, and for long
periods each time. how long will ASPD be up THIS time ?
Did they work all the bug's out ? or will they go back down in 6-months ?
between this site and aspd, who needs ter. I noticed alot of providers
have reviews on TER, and was almost forced to sign up there.
I hope most clients will post their reviews here.

I just realized, the same provider who introduced me to aspd back in 2001 is the same provider who introduced me to eccie. I'll have to tell her during our visit today. For one, I really like this site. While useful aspd had grown into a board controlled by a few who would give newcomers a hard time. I for one hope this board continues to grow and succeed. Great job here.

The site is offline today to fix this problem. The mods/admins didn't see this issue. All the male mods/admins automatically see the comments. So the fact that all members could see it never came up in our perusal of the site before it went back online last night. The programmer should be able to fix this pretty quickly. If mods had to go into each individual review and replace the BCD tags...it would take forever. Just a FYI for everyone.

Honestly dont mean to offend anyone....But ASPD was great while it lasted but with all its problems its pointless to get our hopes up.....I love eccie and am glad to call it my my new and improved home....I doubt we'll see problems going on over here like we do on aspd...And thats exactly what we need a stable place to post...

There are no reviews, all data showing up is very old. They may be running but not well at this time. I intend to continue affiliation with both sites for many reasons and they are not all about reliability. I also believe ASPD over time has become non friendly to newcomers. We were all newcomers at one time. While I believe some people should have been band, sometimes, the moderators might have a short fuse. I will never criticize them individually because I recognize it is a thankless job, very time consuming, and certainly under paid. I hope and trust that this site will be more open to criticism if and when it is applied. I firmly believe that if you listen to someone, you will learn something. Many times we as human beings tend to close out what people are telling us, when we probably should have paid attention.
