That was the worst decision ever. The kicker had been blocked on every kick so far tonight and here he has him try a 51 yarder. How stupid is that.

The kick barely missed, loved the call from Nick's standpoint.

Yes the kick barely missed, looked what happened as a result. There was very little upside to kicking. He had missed every kick in the game. If you think that was a good decision I want to play poker with you.
Maybe the Texan's can recruit him

It was a different kicker. Cade Foster kicked the 1st 3. Freshman Adam Griffith attempted the final one which led to one of the most amazing endings since Flutie to Phelan in the BC upset over Miami, which I believe was Thanksgiving weekend 1983

Absolutely no reason not to attempt the field goal. The run back was a fluke, a great play in a great ending. I agree with the call in every way, it just didn't work out as intended.
