So the El Paso Shooter was a right wing nut, and the Dayton Shooter was a left wing nut.

The common factor is both used a semi automatic AR style Rifle to carry out their mayhem.

There are millions of Americans who own and enjoy shooting these types of firearms. How are we going to deal with the one tenth of one percent who would carry out such extreme acts as these two criminals.

The Democrat/Socialist/Progressive/liberals will not stop at gun laws banning semi auto rifles. Their aim is full confiscation.

The NRA has always recognized this, and is demonized for it.

There has to be middle ground. We are far from finding it.

Not quite right...The El Paso shooter has an AK variant in 7.62 according to the police chief. The press is reporting an AR and the picture of the 100 round magazine seems to confirm that. I wonder if the press will put out that the 7.62 x 39 round is more powerful than the 5.56 meaning that they have been misleading for some time.

It is far less than .1 of 1 percent. A site proclaims 30 million AR 15s in this country, figure less than a hundred in mass shootings (probably fewer) and you have .00000333 or .00033 of 1 percent.

There is no evidence that confication of Ar-15 semi-automatic weapons will change anything happening with these mentally ill peole who act out mass shootings. There are millions of semi-automatic weapons that function precisely as AR-15's in the country, and to demonize a black rifle because it is 'scary" is foolish on the part of the DPST's. Outlawing AR-15's will simply mean shooters go to other weapons. And as in Australia - the DPST's will want to control weapons until nothing is left in the Country but butter knives for lawful self-defense.

It is about "Control" - not just weapons- and they are looking to set a precedent - Kalifornia already has done so.
DPST media takes the actions of such a small minority - as pointed out above - to restrict the rights of millions of Law-abiding AR-15 owners who use their weapons lawfully. And to no effect on the conduct they criticize - but Encourage so they can spout their foolish, short sighted narrative.



If Gov. Gruesome and DeBlovia think they will confiscate Legal weapons from Middle America - they are very much mistaken. Such an action by a DPST administration is tantamount to inciting Civil War in America. There are Millions of Americans who will refuse to submit to the SPST's and their unfounded confiscatory agenda.
