When are discounts appropriate?

OK, so my niche is the $100 half hour full GFE special.

My business is great.

Some gents I see on a regular basis, like once a week or at least three times a month, who are pretty quick due to time constraints(family, work etc), I give them a discount-$75 for the half hour.

A provider I know told me I was CRAZY, that was too damn low, but I feel that it assures me they keep on coming(to me). They're not hard or difficult, just like to get things "done" and they're outta there. Not like 10 minutes, but still, they get things done and are gone.

It works for me, and assures me of their continuing patronige(sp?).

Am I crazy? Do other girls offer similiar discounts?

Sweet Heather,

Welcome to ECCIE, if you wish to advertise your rates and specials please go through the process of getting Verified Provider status.

Here's a link to help you with the process:

*now that the threAD aspect has been addressed*

from the customer perspective I'd say that sounds really terrific.

I think discounts are very appropriate for regulars and extended visits. If your regulars prefer the shorter visits and you both walk away happy with the transaction then I don't see anything wrong.

I rarely visit Houston so I prefer longer visits and tend to book with ladies that seem to share the same preference.

Example (1st hr = standard rate and not a special)
Provider AD#1 1hr/$200 2hr/$475
Provider AD#2 1hr/$200 2hr/$400
Provider AD#3 1hr/$200 2hr/$300

Guess who I'm probably going to pick.... AD#1 obviously. I mean, look at the discount I get for only staying 1hr!!

ok j/k. Without fail it is likely going to be #3. I can tell from her pricing structure that she is encouraging the longer stay which is the kind of GFE I prefer.

Feast or famine, you get to decide what your rates will be for anyone you please. The bonus of being "da boss" in a sole proprietorship
SH, ya know how to make a guy feel good!!!! But i guess if it works for you, do your thing.. Get in, get out!!!
Everyone has their price ranges and what they will pay or can afford to pay and every provider has a reason why their rate is 200-700.. Obviously it works!
Well, first of all, I have applied for provider status since I personally know SPHunter, and second, with all due respect, how is it an ad if I don't list a phone number? I honestly was just trying to get a conversation going, I don't need additional business, just trying to contribute to the board. Sorrrrry. H

btw ... is your avatar an accurate picture of you? ... very nice.

Oh yea the subject of the thread ... I agree discounts can be appropriate for regulars. I proposed a discount for more regular patronage ... but she said no and was kind of snoty ... guess what I have spent a dime on her since, all she had to say was no.

Girls, it's basic economics ... if you have all the business you can handle ... of course a discount isn't a good idea, but if you have to much free time on your hands ... a discount for more frequent visits makes you more money in the long run.

Have you not wondered why discount stores seem to do better (especially when the ecomomy is in a downturn). If your cup of tea is high prices, that's great ... if it works for you.

Whenever they help you achieve your targeted goal (that being income, # clients, loyal/repeat customers, safety/security or a combination of them)

To me is simple, if it works for you, you should care less what anyone else says or thinks

Not thatI know this guy or anything about the alert, but when you tell someone that, they're likely to go make a new handle and do the same shit to more ladies.
Or do you not understand the term "discreet"?

And please don't cop attitude with the mods here. How could he have possibly known that you know SP? He's just doing his job.
