Have fun and make sure you hit up the Chop house for a fantastic steak. The best in the mid-west.

I'm far from an expert on Chi been numerous times (and always stay in the Downtown theater district) but I can mention a few places I've been. There's a section of Chi called the Viagra Triangle where (business singles mingle) there's bars and clubs galore.

Let me throw a bunch of stuff at you. All of which I've been to.

There's a bunch of bars all together on a street called Rush. Tavern is one of them. Happy Hr usually from 5-7 they have a really good Ahi Tuna appetizer. Red Head piano bar (on Ontario) is fun but kind of an older crowd.

There's also a very swanky high end bar called the BAR at the Peninsula. --> http://chicago.peninsula.com/en/fine-dining/the-bar

Hub 51 and Benchmark are excellent bars with great food.

If you're into Italian try Sapori on Halsted and for Mexican I recommend Uncle Hulios Hacienda on North Ave they have awesome king crab for cheap!!
There's a Thai soup house in Evanston about a block away from the coast that is to die for. If you go north into Chicagoland try it out. Great casual eating spots up there.
Gibsons is amazing!

The lines can be long but they give you a box of Milk Dud's while you wait. Lol Great coffee! Have fun.
If you have not been to the art museum, you must go. Only place I have been to that rivals the louvre in Paris !

The lines are so long in Paris this is the type of shit you can expect while waiting. lol

here's a better view of how long lines can get:

Home sweet home. Had a blast though. yes, went to the Art Institute. Was awesome. Such a great collection of French pre and post revolutionary art. The girl and the goat may be one of the best restraunts I've had the privilege of dining at. Confit goat, pig face, good stuff. And we ate at Rosebuds and shopped miracle mile. Happy to be home though.
Next time we will go together.. She wants to meet you..
I just saw this ♡ you! Was so nice to have fun with you and Stella today! I couldn't ask to have better friends and partners!
