Point me to the dark web

When this place closes I'll need a place to find new talent.

What is the dark web?

How do I get there?

Do you explore there now?

Any good places to find escorts? Nothing weird or illegal, just good ole ladies of the night please.

I don't exactly know where on the dark web you will find that content.

But the first step, download Tor aka the onion router. You'll need that to access dark web. Before you sign on you'll want to also find a good VPN to mask your IP. I use google chrome and found one in the app store that works well for me. But, if you google "free VPN" you'll find what you're looking for.

Once you have your VPN going (double check this it's important it works) then open up TOR and have at it. My one piece of advice is to be VERY VERY VERY careful about what links you click on. I cannot stress this enough to be VERY VERY VERY careful. Dark web is not a place to fuck around unless you know what you're looking for.

Edit: force close out of your current internet browser and any other programs you have open. Do not use TOR in full-screen mode. If you have a webcam, put some tape over it. Whenever I go on TOR I always know what I'm looking for but with newbies you have to utilize caution.

The dark web is creeepy as hell. Never again. Seen something on there that i can not erase from my memory smh

My advice the dark web is only cool if your looking for a particular thing. Dont go browsing around looking at everything trust me!

Dark web definitely has its pros and cons. Yes, you can find a variety of illegal stuff on there (some worse than others) but it's also a safe haven for whistleblowers and journalists. They can share their story without fear of their country or company striking back. Plus, the obvious privacy gain. It's not all bad I promise.

It's overhyped, the sites suck design wise. Unless youre selling guns & drugs, it's a waste. It's cool to set up your own .onion site but if you don't configure your shit properly, it will leak your server info and make it easy to find you which defeats the purpose of it. You could stick to clearnet and add "no index, no follow" meta tags to get the same "secret site" effect.

^ that isn't accurate, the city in Montana is spelled "Bozeman"

I can vouch for the rest though.

LOL@darkweb

You guys would be hacked in seconds.

Its like calling the script kiddies, hackers.
Any darkweb that people point you to is just a webpage unless you are reading it in a telnet prompt.
Plus yhe obvious privacy gain. It's not all bad I promise. Originally Posted by Luxie

Then more clarifying commentary.
And more to follow after.

So what do y'all who do eagerly jumped in to talk about it actually use it FOR? Just wondering
So I can get a Free VPN to browse the Deep web on my chrome app thingy Luxie? That is a 3rd party thingamajig like CL and BP tho right? Do they collect any data that they can be forced to hand over for legal reasons?

OH WAIT. THEY DO. I'm thinking a Free app isn't the best solution.

Obviously, before using any VPN you have to check the fine print and do your own research and you're using it at your own risk. I discovered that proton mail offers a paid VPN service, will likely switch over to that one.
VPNs are terrible unless you know they wont sell you out and ECCIE blocks TOR.

Decentralized website is the only solution.
