Buffalo, places to stay?

It's been a few years since I've visited Buffalo and can't remember what area I stayed in. I need to make my reservation this evening but I'm unsure what part of town I should stay in and if there are certain hotels I should avoid. Thank you in advance for any suggestions....

Rochester has the best hotels
Rochester is next on the list. I was happy where I stayed back in September so will probably return to that same area.

LOL Foxhunterx, you're not helping in the decision making process!

One good way to kill your visit is to stay downtown. DON'T do it. Airport area is the way to go.
Okay, airport area it is. Thank you for your input.

Guys please don't list names of Hotels we never know whos watching.
Take pro football player Tom Brady's advice and DON'T stay in any Buffalo hotels. Go for the burbs...i.e.Cheektowaga, Amherst or Hamburg.
