Social Media

Do very many provider use social media in association with their business?
Do very many gentlemen follow any of these providers?
While building my current website I noticed the option of putting Twitter, Facebook, etc links. But I'm not sure if anyone want to follow me on Twitter or the likes.
What are your experiences in this hobby with social media?

It could be great for business try it.

Tell you what I thought of that would be great and I want half if it takes off! Lol but make a social media site where guys could chime in about providers they are looking for and the city they are in and the price and time they are willing to pay. And then let providers fill their orders.

I know they are probably providers out there looking for business on slow days that would jump on this.

It would be something like this

Male in New Orleans looking for white female under 30 for hour of fun for 200. Tonight only.

If discretion is a concern, I'd advise no. If not, everyone is whoring themselves on social media, so jump in, it is in vogue.

Quite a few ladies have said it's gotten them great business but for some reason the thought of an escort twitter/facebook/IG bothers me.
It's an excellent topic to be sure. Good post, JK.

I want my hobby life to be part of the underground of my life. Social media is anything but. The internet and SM are hostile to anonymity so while I would admire your marketing prowess, I wouldn't be a follower.

All the best.

One nice benefit is if you are touring to an area and you let your followers know you'll be there soon, it could generate business (even w/o advertising on their local board). Some ladies will run Specials for their followers. The thing I like best about Twitter is it lets people see another part of you that an ad may not do. Facebook (to me) is too passive, whereas Twitter is pretty pro-active!
I will be deleting my business Facebook account at the end of next month and I've already deleted my business Twitter, Tumblr and Yahoo accounts. Already deleted email accounts that I no longer use and have begun the transition to Non-US based email providers that don't have any servers located in the US.

Nope, anyone can follow me
As far as I am concerned, mixing the hobby and social media in any form or fashion is a very, very, very bad idea.

So, unless you are in fact referring to a landscape characterized by insufficient rain, you might want to add that second S, next time you're in there doing maintenance.

I hesitated to mention this, because it might easily be seen as some kind of smart-assery, and I'm truly just trying to be helpful. Your web presence is much too elegant to be marred by any trivial problems of orthography, if I can do anything about it by bringing it to your attention.
