Free Antivirus

Having an issue with current AntiVirus and need to downlowd something free for the time being until it gets resolved. But, which one out there is the best for a temporary fix??

I know being "free" it's not going to have all the protection I have with what Ive been using, but I need something...I just hate getting online and know I have nothing..ya know?
http://www.avast.com.

The home edition is free and very effective at cleaning most viruses, trojans, worms, etc.

http://www.malwarebytes.org.

Another good free tool.

Between the two I have great success with most infected computers.

Yes, I have been using those two exclusively for years now. I have not had a serious virus issue since.
Try Trojans.
Good antivirus protection and they make you soft when you wear them!

Or try www.avg.com for a good free program.
+1 on AVG, I use that and Ad-Aware.

Microsoft Security Essentials is a VERY GOOD free program.

The link below will take you to the free download site, and provide a lot of additional information.
