Hidden cameras

posting this under Security Matters because it seems that anyone (including L.E.) could be using this inexpensive technology to record you without your knowledge.

I may be paranoid, but I look for these things on Incalls and I recommend Outcall providers should be aware of these kinds of things.

There are inexpensive Pens, Watches, Eyeglasses, Key FOBs, AlarmClocks, Gum package, Lighter, Necktie and Pendants available with hidden (HD DVR) camera's in them. Plus the NannyCAM kind of things.

Google Images for Hidden Surveillance cameras, or hidden camera glasses for images.

Here is one site that has a few of them:

Be well and safe!
I am only soliciting friendship - nothing illegal going on here.
I had a client recently disclose to me that he had recorded another lady that he had just seen, without her knowledge. I had been seeing him for quite sometime.... well, no more, and I will never give him a reference.

He did it with his IPhone. He set it up to be propped in such a way that it was a perfect angle for filming. This is one of the reasons I make anyone seeing me place their phone in a closed drawer. They have a briefcase with them? It goes in the closet, as do their clothes. No ifs ands or buts about it.

These type products have been on the civilian market for years and in LE for far longer than that.

Look at it this way- screen your Providers very carefully and if there is any information that makes you feel uncomfortable move on. As well, if a Provider/Hobbiest is doing this, it will get out and they are SOL for any future business/fun.

If you have been on this Board long, and the previous boards before, you will know that negative actions by a Provider and/or Hobbiest will follow them for a very, very long time.

One thing to know about most inexpensive video cameras is they don't work well in low light. I have experience with game trail cameras and inexpensive action cameras like gopro. Gopro in low light is worthless. Game cameras in low light require IR or flash to work properly. If you want to know the limits yourself set up your smartphone and lower the lighting in a room. Go from bright to dark in steps and see where it quits working. Low light conditions are your friend. Can't speak to high end cameras as I have no first hand experience with them.
Great Idea MissCallie, make a rule that all parties put any phones in another room or closet, but away from people, also who wants to hear the ring of incoming calls or texts....

I also have clients put their belongings away!
I heard there are these lenses you can look through to see if there is a spy cam. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=38Qqw2dYq_c
I've never used one, and not sure if they work well.
Bull$hit hidden cameras
Good Idea about the drawer. Gonna come in handy

Practice safety and all will be ok. Get too comfortable, or slip up when not on your A-game; then a hidden camera will be nothing compared to what can happen. This is is a great reminder for those who don't know Stone Cold... "DTA"
