Favorite spots for food and drinks?

I will be staying in North Loop this coming week and wanted to see what are some spots to check out that have a bar?

Tech Ridge, University or Airport?
So far those are the 3 different areas I have become familiar with.
With this ever growing traffic it might be important to add a few more areas.

Magic hands north loop is uptown just north of downtown kinda around the 51st area baby
