Super Slow Board

The board is super slow today.

Has anyone else noticed that?

I am running Windows 7 with Firefox 5.0 and have12 Gbyts of ram, 2 Terabytes of hard drive and double 24 inch screens.

Technically, I could launch a ballistic missile with my system and have reserve power, but am still getting these pesky "Timed Out" messages periodically.

Is Eccie doing some work on their servers?

I am able to connect to other sites in a flash, but even simply posting this message took several attempts.

. . . Just watching the rotating circle saying "connecting to eccie" will make you dizzy if you watch it long enough!

Under heavy load (typically, every Monday), the board is intermittently "slow".

The board is slow because it's Monday?

Really?

I would have thought that Monday would be one of the days with lighter traffic and Friday would be the day with the highest traffic.

Either way it's much too slow!

Monday is one of the highest viewing days. It's always slow for me, always timing out an so forth. I have no problem getting to other sites quickly but have had issues with this one running slow for the longest time.
