I agree. And then when it goes from a discretion issue to a moral issue, people try to push it from a moral issue to a legal issue. These things seem to take a mind of their own and snowball into a huge movement. Leave the girl alone.
Oh, I see. It's a big no-no to participate in a pornographic video- but it's totally fine for kids to watch pornos and discuss it with faculty and it's okay for faculty to download and display pornographic material to their peers while at school.
People should mind their business, she shouldn't be fired or punished in the least for doing something that is completely legal and separated from her teaching career.
People are acting like this is a moral issue, when really this is a discretion isssue, do people think that if she continue teaching at this school she will sexually influence her students? What's the big deal in just leaving her be?
