any suggestions for a reliable, reasonable, honest auto repair shop in collin county? some places offer rides to and from, that would help also.

believe it or not, you should try firestone. I've nothing but good things to say for years.

I have used Goodyear at 121/Custer and been treated well.

Not quite in Collin County but in Richardson. Gus's Auto Repair on 75 near Belt Line. Don't think he offers rides and haven't been there in a while, but last time I was there I liked him a lot. He was recommended by someone in the business who should know.
