Has anyone heard this song?

I'm thinking it might just be the greatest song I have ever heard. It just gets better and better and better and the ending notes are superb. And what a voice:

I produce and help to manage new acts as a(nother) hobby. Here's why i wouldn't work with this guy (although others might, because it's a very 'temporary' commercial sound):

1. There is no band. No 'sound'. Weak differentiation.

2. The vocals sound very produced. There is no feeling of 'honesty' with this video. The song and the video are a clone of 1000 music videos that came before it.

This song might very well appeal to young teens for 30 minutes because it's visually appealing... but I don't think this song has any musical staying power and that will kill it. There is no riff or melody that will grab people and hold their interest. There is no 'hit' vibe.

Here is another song of his that I also find absolutely amazing. I would be interested in your opinion. It's the title track from that album in fact......it's called "Colours"......I just love it. What do you think of it?:

Damn, he's got some voice. In the song Colours when he says......."I want to walk in your waaaa-terr".......that high note of "Waaaa-ter" is exquisite. Love it.

As a keyboard player, the droning and purposeless synth just drives me crazy. Just a boring sting pad. Drums (which could be a drum machine) are terribly uninventive, too.

As pointed out, the vocals are highly processed. They sound completely out of sorts and disconnected from the backing track.

Song writing is fairly weak, too, IMHO.

I think Mick and Keith can rest easy for a few more months.

WacoKid, you're not old enough for that to be an "old" favorite. Try this one on for size:
