Flushing the cover down the toilet…

Am I the only one who feels guilty doing this?

I’m almost certain that it has to get fished out by some poor sap at the waste treatment facilities before the water can be recirculated back to the river or whatever. I’ve heard about the “flushable” wipes and how they clog up the sewers and it seems to me that rubbers are also problematic but every provider I’ve met has insisted that I flush them.
I suppose in a small (no pun) way I can appreciate your concern. However do you want to recycle them?? Come on, flush and be done.

How do you recycle a condom?

Turn it inside out and shake the fuck out of it.

Sewer plants have shredders, grinders, macerators, etc that handle all sorts of nose closing stuff.

Diapers, tampons, clothing, sanitary wipes, etc, no problem.

Think of paper shreaders, but Truck size, located at the beginning of the water treatment process at the local plant.

So yes, keep the gal happy and do what she tells you.
