bourbons and single malt / single barrel

Of the finer bourbons , what are some of the finer , smoother brands you have tried? Recently on a trip to elicotville ,I had a sample of a smoked bourbon that was off the charts delicious. Cant remember the name , but man was it good. Wish I could go there now and buy the bottle. I do remember it was $75 for the .750 ml bottle. You cod actually taste the smoke flavor!!!!

1792, Booker's, Pappy Van Winkle, Blanton's, Kentucky Spirit, and Woodford Reserve are among my favorites.

I had to purchase a bottle of Buffalo Trace for a friend of mine, affordable and pretty damn good

Eagle Rare 10 yr., also Willet is quite tasty as well.
