As far as doing it before an appointment, if he insisted, I guess so. But given that HIV doesn't immediately show up if you're exposed to it, it seems seems like a waste of time.

But if a man is a complete nervous nelly and wishes for me to do it and he bought the test over, sure. I'll do it for him. But why not bring a cup to pee in as well? That would provide a little bit more information for him, also.
