Not sure what movies he would fit in these days, but back in his day, he had some good ones.........Spartacus, The Vikings. They put him in a few westerns and romantic roles that didn't fit well.


He was a throwback to the old Hollywood days, where endless female conquests was the norm, and almost a male obligation. Again he would have a hard time fitting in the current era.
I always enjoyed his movies

Rich, famous and a long life. Giving his health the last few years Its hard to feel bad for his passing. Have you seen any of his old movies lately? They dont' hold up, they come across as kind of cheesy. Gods speed.

The big hits in that era seem to be historical or religious. They had enough special effects technology in those days to at least manage those. It was no picnic to be a slave in the Roman era.
