Question

This is a question not regarding The hobby....
As some of you probably know, I've moved out of my apartment and
Have been staying in a hotel, I haven't had much luck, the pickings are kinda slim on CL. Was just wondering if we have any friends that are renters in the Pensacola area, any is fine. Or if you know of any places or listing websites besides Craigslist and Apartmentfinder.com, but more like craigslist. Looking for all utilities included, 1-2br PETS ALLOWED. If utilities included I can pay up to 1100 a month. If none are included then I can pay up to 700 for rent alone. Any help is appreciated, also I do have good rental history and proof of employment/income.

Thanks so much, and if this isn't allowed in here... Sorry
What about destin/fwb area so I can see you again.

Lol well I can't bc I go to school in Pensacola! But I would defiantly love to see you again... Mmm!
Not sure how the rental market is in Pensacola but I do have rental property on PCB and I would think your budget might be a little low depending on the area. I would suggest you keep checking CL as I'm sure there will be new listing all the time. Summer and Fall is when lots of people move into new places. Good luck and also on your schooling plans.

I would check the local newspaper as well. Also Google apartment management, and start calling around. I don't know of many apartments that offer utilities paid. Most will do water and trash. Figure 100 for water, 50 for trash, and 150 for electricity. That is 300 in utilities, so you might bump up your budget to 800. I'm sure there are plenty of apartments for that amount in P'Cola. Also, do you qualify for section 8 housing?

No definitely not, I don't even apply for food stamps. My last apartment was all utilities included and I paid 910$ a mo. And it was really nice just the LL was a dick. And it's only my 2nd time living on my own my first time I lived in Carlton palms in downtown Pensacola and there I paid 700 for all utilities so I guess I really don't know much about what my bills will actually run me
Heck for 1100 bucks a month you should be able to afford a house and build equity. You will just need to have a good down payment and could prob get qualified for a first time home buying program.

Dunno if that is an option for you or not what side of town do you want to stay in?

Good luck with this.
If you are just planing on just living at the apartment, I'm sure your school has a housing office. I'm sure they have a list of Approved Landlords.

I say blow your landlord. . . You never know what might happen.
