So to get FDA approval they had to focus on a group. It works post menopause just like it works in men, it is just harder to get "off label" for those groups.

Have fun, this stuff has be around for a long time. Look up PT-141. It just finally went through a long long multiple round FDA process. One of the hardest parts of the process was delivery method. Typically in the past a person had to buy the PT141, reconstitute into bacteriostatic water, then inject with a diabetic needle. It doesn't hurt, but there was no way for approval doing it this way. Too many chances for the user to screw up and get an infection or other contamination of the product.
