Swapping license plates for security?

Finished up a round of of outcall fun. Told the lady I was hungry and offerred her dinner. She politely declined. We got dressed, I escorted her to her car and said good-bye.

I go in to get my wallet and keys. Leaving my subdivision I notice the lady out of her car on a side-street swapping out her license plates!

My first thought was if I were LE and I caught her with TWO different license plates she'd be in trouble worse then some dude snooping on her.

I recall her saying that using license plates not match what is on record/registration was an automatic suspension of license and eventually, you would have to appear in court.

Remove the front plate (if asked, say it fell off) and back into a spot so that people can't see the back plate.

I know a lot of guys who do that.

A previous post on this sort of issue also noted that if your vehicile has very specific items such as school names or worse the name of your kid and where they go to school, be very wary of where you park at an incall or hotel because you never know when Noisy Nellie may be driving by and later ask the SO why your car was at so and so location.

Under Texas Transportation Code § 502.409, attaching the wrong license plate to a motor vehicle is a Class C misdemeanor with a maximum fine of $200.
sounds like she's been watching to much TV. Swtiching plates is a bad idea.
Was she a legit provider or just some BP fly by night? Maybe she had more criminal intent than just a sex session w/ Herc....l.......just saying

A lady told me that she doesn't want a guy seeing her license plate and trying to find out her real identity, etc. So she keeps the kind of car she drives a secret. She said someone had tracked her down based on her plate number. Seems like that are some stalkers out there.

Maybe in this particular instance, she had a bad experience in the past, and is being overly cautious.

Providers' real names and addresses can already be found via phonedetective.com. The only solution is for providers to use pay phones and taxi cabs. But even these things aren't fool proof.

Meaning. If I use a magnet to hold plates over mine after I enter a private apartment complex and well before I arrive at an incall, is that OK?

How bout if I pull into the parking area of a hotel and change them then drive up? Again, private property? Right?

For vehicles in my own driveway, can I mask or hide or use fake ones so driver's by can't see my plates?

BUT, replacement plates are really cheap. Go get new ones and make sure you mark the box where it says not to disclose the info.

Someone can still go get them at a DMV office but they must sign and pay and that leaves a track record if they are truly stalking someone.

I actually change mine out about every 7-8 months or so.

If she's going to do that (switch out), wouldn't it make sense to make the switch from an inconspicuous location? If anyone was trying to stalk her or do a background check all they had to do was watch her make the switch and then get her REAL plate number.
