A man and a friend are playing golf one day. One of the guys is about to chip onto the green when he sees a long funeral procession on the road next to the course. He stops in mid-swing, takes off his golf cap, closes his eyes, and bows down in prayer. His friend says: "Wow! That is the most thoughtful and touching thing I have ever seen. You are truly a kind man."
The other man replies, "Yeah, well, we were married 35 years."
Two golfers walking and pulling hand carts are in the middle of their round when one collapses, dead as dead could be. Several hours later, the surviving golfer arrives at the club house greeted by heckling from the other players, "What the hell took you so long, lose all your balls?" The other golfer replied, "No something terrible happened, Charlie died in the middle of the game." "Oh my God" the others said. "That must have been so hard." "Yes" said the surviving golfer, "it was hard." "I had to hit the ball and drag Charlie, hit the ball and drag Charlie."
