Where Are the Nerds?

So, I'm sitting here watching the Big Bang Theory, which is my idea of porn. I'm just wondering...where are all the nerds in NOLA?

Not softcore stuff like think-tank volunteers, I want the really hardcore kind: bioengineers, physicists, neuroscientists....oh god what I'd give for 15mins with a neuroscientist...

Lol, I'll stop being silly. But I really am curious - where do the nerds lurk in New Orleans?

j/k. I dunno. I'm more of a tech nerd than a science nerd. Plus I'm in BR.
Do political science majors count?

In glasses. It's just something about them, a mysterious quiet guy in glasses and the dominate side of me comes out lol

Do you have any engineer clients? I'm pretty sure that they are the nerds you're looking for.
We are at work trying to get the economy moving!!! Lmao.
@NolaTailChaser, thank you!

And honestly I don't always know exactly what my clients do. For example, a person could work for Simens, which I verify, but I'd never know whether he was a scientist or just in the public relations division.
The real scientists are probably working too hard to come see me..shame.

And yes, I'm open to political science majors lol.

I did an essay for a providers English class once and she gave me a two extra hours on my booking. I can't recall how our conversation gravitated toward me doing that......and in retrospect I did way to much bookwork and research for those two hours lol.
that would be reallly cool to spend some time i had a few clients that had some pretty interesting jobs i think thats what i lovve most about doing this i met clients from all diff walks of life and learn something new everyday
Try the comic book shop in Metairie, the Ren-Fest, or the theaters w the IMAX Superhero and fantasy movies. NO Comic Con is another good place. There is a reaason that pop-culture stereotypes us (nerds).

Well im not sure about nola, but if you ever make it to the west side of the state i could show ya where at least one engineer is in LC. 15 min for neuroscientist? How much for industrial engineer?

I'm a mathematician studying to be a statistician. <--Too much nerd to handle.
@Simpleman Thank you for those! I usually go to RenFest every year but honestly the smell kinds of takes away from any chance of a romantic atmosphere. Lol, maybe we can go together and make a date of it - I'll wear a corset and bring my fairy wings!

@Runkle, I'm planning a trip right now - no lie! PM me for details I studied a bit of industrial engineering in my pshyc classes and found it really interesting....using people as the integral building blocks of the organizations they are a part of - Its a genius yet obvious solution to most all the problems we have - I so wish we could do that on a larger scale, Imagine a re-engineered Senate!

@ Matopicasso: Whoa....Nerdgasam.
