And look how well it's working out for them.
If you think the U.S, China and Russia (let alone the rest of the world) can all agree on one currency XR then good luck to you in life, I don't see you making it past the age of 10.
The major opponent for the U.S is China, they will never ever let this happen. They're already involved in artificially deflating the yen which makes their export economy strong.
If you're implementing a uniform currency then that means the price of goods everywhere will be the same, (otherwise everyone will engage in a process called arbitrage, which can not exist in the long run).
Think of another country like Pakistan, where the average yearly income is $9800. Can you imagine people in the U.S trying to support a family of 4 on 10 grand?
Maybe try using your tiny little head before posting bullshit like this.

And prices reflect localized economies. Does a house in calafornia cost the
same as a house in west texas? The same currency is used to purchase both.
Common currency is only one step in globalization. It would affect big
commodity items like oil more than anything else.
There would also have to be a global economic depression as well to
bring it on. Answers always have to appear better than the problem
they will claim to solve.
Yeah, the euro is no big success,(what currency could ever prop up their
socialist governments)
but when has the answer for such minded
people ever not been "more of the same, just in a bigger way"
The liberal socialist mind set in a nut shell.
