Questions re: questions to the MODs

Today's question regards the daily hobbyist;s rights to responsible, responsive MODERATION, I hope by this inquiry to learn if my case is unique (rarely is this so), and if the STAFF at large sees my case as meriting examination within that corps,

I wrote a review.
A moderator rejected it for 'credit' as lacking sufficient detail in the ROS section.
By PM I requested that moderator to reconsider his evaluation and listed the reasons why citing excerpts from the review.
I have yet to receive a response from that moderator.

In a subsequent public posting within the last month, I made oblique reference in an unrelated thread implying that I still wanted an answer 'to the unanswered questions.'

This elicited from another MOD a question regards my issue and the unanswered PMs, This MOD said he was unaware of any such questions I had posed. I promptly sent a PM to that MOD citing the concern with a url for the REVIEW and for each PM.

Now I am unable to find some of the PMs to the MODs in my 'file cabinet.' It is as though they were never written.

A timid soul might back off and resume play.
Not so fast with me. I have rarely experienced the strength of timidity.

Thus far I have I attempted to obtain reconsideration by PMs to the first MOD and gotten no response. I have sought by PM to obtain a second opinion, a re-consideration by another PM, and now a third time by yet a third MOD.
And I cannot find the some of the PMs that I had written.
Just because I am paranoid does not mean someone is not out to get me.

There seems to be a pattern of behavior prompted by motives I will not try to discern much less define.

Having sought privately to seek redress, and been ignored repeatedly, I now turn to the Houston staff at large and ask for your opinion.

This is not about getting credit or not. This is about fundamental fairness, of substance not style.

So I am publicly asking the Houston staff to step up, do some research, make some inquiry and get back to me.

I seek no fight. The conflict was brought to me by arbitrary use of power, and by some MOD's refusal to respond to private requests for reconsideration.

What are the hobbyist's rights in eccie? Can we expect the MODs to respond to our questions and complaints? Does the corps of STAFF and MODs in eccie at large care about such an issue as this?

Two themes come to mind:

"Rank has its privilege. Rank also has its responsibility,:

"Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely."

Which leads to one last question:

Will this thread see the light of day in the forum?

First our apologies for not getting back to you very quickly. We get high volumes of requests and other task daily and with our limited time on here sometimes things may get lost in the shuffle so a thread here helps.

I'm not sure why you're pm's wont show up, the staff doesn't have access to your account so we wouldn't be able to reach in there and change things around for you.

The review was actually rejected because of the fee portion, we reward reviews with premium access credit but only if they are filled out correctly and completely and by this we mean providing information our readers can use.

Here our San Antonio colleague kindly gives you a few pointers to help you out when writing your next review.

I'm not sure what you mean by "abuse of power or power corrupts" since the staff has not used their power to coerce you into doing something you don't want to do, but what i do see is a scenario where a pm was lost or unattended and now answered.

Interesting question.

I think, it's more like: "Power can corrupt. Absolute power can corrupt absolutely."
