Rating a review

I just saw that my last review had 5 stars under rating. I was wondering who does the rating? The reviewer? Just curious is all.

Actually I think the stars are rating the thread and not the review per se. I believe other readers are able to rate the thread (not the original thread starter).

So what are they rating exactly?

Well if you like the thread's content, 5 stars is the best. The lower # of stars, the less liked is the thread. At the top left side of all threads is a drop down menu to rate a thread. I rated this one as 5.
