Well, while I was taking care of not pulling my hair out yesterday lmao, we all know how teens are! One of the big no no's was taken off, as I had tried to search for it and it was gone. An ad with rates in it specifying rates for incall. Secondly, the fact that we are only allowed 1 weekly ad, in up to 5 cities a week and 1 weekend ad and I have been seeing ads in coed or other places where they shouldnt be, Now for those of us that try to adhere to the rules, it is not fair for the new girls to get away with this but yet if you see one of us old broads do this, we get reprimanded.
I understand that people have things to do and cant be doing their volunteer jobs all the time, but I would think that if it is overlooked, shouldnt certain positions just be handed to someone else that has the time to take care of people following rules and guidelines.

That is why we depend on people using the RTM button (the one with the Triangle) if they see something they think shouldn't be there.

I constantly skim through the Provider Ads and Weekend Lineup in MS, LA and about 10 other forums for ads with rates and services. I probably catch more than you realize but I don't catch them all.

I don't monitor Co-ed and other subforums because that is the duty of the male mods in the local forums.

It is not a bad thing to use the RTM button. It really does help us catch things we might miss. We one uses the RTM button for ads, it goes to all the female Mods and the local male mods.

I hope that helps a bit... and again... please let me know if you see something I miss.

Smooch!

First, as you already stated, the ad breaking the rules that you were concerned with was removed. As the most common ECCIE rule violation, this happens at least a dozen times every day (probably every hour) and at all hours of the day, so I'm not even sure which one you're referring to. A lot of ads sometimes get posted at about the same time, so we may miss something that gets buried quickly just because we can lose track of where we left off viewing posts (at least I do). Personally, I love the little icon for the forum that quickly tells when something new is posted, but unfortunately you can't always trust it since it doesn't appear to work consistently. Bottom line is that they'll continue to get posted and we'll miss some of them. If someone reports something we missed, it will get taken care of (though maybe not fast enough to satisfy you).

You're right that it's not fair for the new girls to do anything you can't do, but face it new people make newbie mistakes. It's just part of the process in learning a new board with different rules. Newbies (like many other ECCIE providers were used to posting on other boards like Escorts.com, Craigslist, and Backpage, which all had very few restrictions in what you posted (and even ECCIE has become restrictive in what's allowed in the ad forums), so people are going to make mistakes and break the rules, and somehow the world will not end!

The process actually works pretty well - a rule is violated, it gets noticed by someone and the violator is notified, usually in a gentle manner the first time. Repeat offenders receive official warnings & points and can lose posting privileges. ECCIE members can only see their own violations, so it may seem that people are getting away with breaking the rules, but that's not the case. I'm really not sure why you think that a newbie putting her rates in her ad puts you at a disadvantage. Speaking from a guys standpoint, it has no bearing on who I make an appt with - it just might save me a few seconds in going elsewhere to look it up. And really, when was the last time one of you "old broads" as you refer to yourself was "reprimanded" (especially for an ad violation)? I know I could count the number of times I've given points in the last two years on one hand and it was the same way with JAG, so newbies aren't getting any special treatment that you probably didn't get when you started.

Personally, I think one weekly ad in 5 city/state forums along with the weekend ad should be enough for the guys to find a girl. I doubt many guys are so lazy that they'll only check the top 10 ads in a given forum to find a provider, so if you have an ad within a week they're going to find you, if they want you. As far as using Coed or other locations for something that is ad-like, we haven't been hard on those for newbies or "old broads", as long as it isn't clearly just intended as a way around the weekly ad rules. I see no problems with providers posting things in Coed to see if there is interest for them in an area they plan to visit or changes regarding visit dates or even reminders that they are in town. The violations are those that pretty much just copy their ad post from the Ad forum with the intent to get in another ad.

Lastly, you're right that most moderators have other lives outside the hobby and since it is a volunteer job, it sometimes has to take a back seat to real life and real jobs! Like other ECCIE members, we too may even need to be UTR every now and then or may not get to everything as quickly as you feel we should. I think we stay on top of the important stuff like Alerts & Reviews, but others things can wait a few days without any harm to anyone. Hopefully, the people on this board do realize that this is a "hobby" board and NOTHING on here is life & death, despite the fact that some people feel their concerns should be taken care of in minutes, when it's really not worth the drama! As far as "handing the positions down to others", you are welcome to volunteer yourself or others..

That is why we depend on people using the RTM button (the one with the Triangle) if they see something they think shouldn't be there.

For those, who don't know, when you report a post or PM, it goes to every ECCIE moderator. It there's really something urgent, it will likely get taken care by the whichever Mod sees it first, but if it's a minor issue, it will probably wait for the local Mod to take care of it, when they see it. In reality, a PM to the local moderator will usually get the quickest response, since it's easy to miss an RTM, due to the sheer number of them that we get. A PM on the other hand is coming directly to us, and since most people now have smart phones, we will get a PM even when we don't have computer access. If you have something you feel is urgent concerning the MS forum (or AL, NC, SC, or VA), then PM me and I'll do my best to take care of it quickly.
