1st time visit to Vegas from South Texas

I'll be visiting Las Vegas for the 1st time and will be bringing 2 of the hottest most well reviewed providers from South Texas. We'll be visiting the 2nd weekend in July. Wondering which hotel is best at the best rates. Can anyone help? Thanks

south end of the strip is full of good value for your dollars.

Tropicana (newly renovated)
Luxor is nice but the checkin times can be crazy
New York, New York is like a fun party
MGM grand
Excalibur
I don't really like the Monte Carlo a lot but it's not terrible.

I'd check i4vegas.com or hotels.com they usually have great rates

For ease of access, the LV Hilton on Paradise or SouthPoint are good with little to no security at the elevators...off the beaten path is also the Palace Station - older hotel but again, not hard to get in and out of...

I did hear of a fake paparazzi where photogs will wait at your destination and take photos helping make an grand entrance. LOL. Any info on that service?
