Having issues getting back into it

So I have been having a lot of reservations with getting back into the hobby. I took a break for a while because I was getting it for free and also had a really bad experience with an escort stalking me. Now that I have moved to Minneapolis, I just can't seem to pull the trigger. I have visited a few AMPs but that is all. Anyone else every had this type of situation?
