With permission, I occasionally ask personal questions of my companions. In one instance, I asked one how her pre-hobby sex life compared with her professional sex life. She outright told that she never got laid so much as when she started charging for it.



My response was that sometimes when something is free, it perceived to be without value and can even have trouble giving it away. Once you establish a value to something, that changes everything.
