I miss you assholes lol

I am thinking of coming back in March for a week or so visit, I miss you guys and the awesome atmospher there in Austin so much and April is to damn far away.

Had a recent death, for those of you who remember my cats, the orange one passed away suddenly being poisioned by that rock salt shit. Very sad for me as you know how spoiled they are and how much I adored them, it was very hard for me and still is but its getting better. Issue now is my fat, slow grey and white one is having anxiety and crying all night and not sleeping and now for some reason is tearing up my blindes, which is pissing me off being in a new house lol but I am sad cause I know hes looking for his brother...

Other then that everythings been good and I hope ya'll are having super fun there in Austin, I spoke to soon the last time about it not snowing cause the next day we had a snow storm lol Errrr, but I see you guys havent been to warm there either, blahhhh I hate winter.

But anyways miss you all and miss your cocks lol
Damn sorry to hear about your kitty
I was just thinking is it April yet? lol

Your just saying that cause its true!
Sorry to hear about your cat honey. I know I'm going to be crushed when my dog passes. 14 years old which is a lot for a big dog. Was there the day he was born.
Well the fat one was a present to my orange one cause he was lonely, and jessy is a little slow and my orange one peyton took care of them I got peyton when he was 6 weeks old and jessy 2 weeks later and he was like 7-8 weeks old and there like 2 years old now so they were together from the begining.

I bought rocksalt to put on my side walk and it must have gotten brought in by our shoes, that morning he got sick but didnt think much then he jumped into bed and fell over had a seizure for liturally like 10-20 sec and then died with in like 2 mins, just out of no where. It was horrible, so I have reported it and I have a lawyer because theres no warning sign on the bag at all, even for kids and have the distributer on recornding even saying that that rock salt was supposed to be for commerical use and didnt know why it was in the dollar stores and they should have a warning sign and if I had a small kid that ate it they would probably go into seizures.

Its just horrible but Its life I guess and I am to sensitive when it comes to animals, he was a good cat though. I got him cremated and hes home again, now just dealing with other cats loneliness...

I wish it was April Rocker lol But I am hoping its not snowing here in March and I will be back for a week or so and then Houston which should be fun, never been before...
Iowa is nothing like Austin AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cats rock! Sorry to hear that you lost one
Awwww Shayla, that is so heart-crushing. I really love animals too.
I'm so sad for you and your grey kitty. My condolences. ....

I think its awesome you are being proactive with questioning the rock salt company about their lack of warning labels. I have heard about certain plants and antifreeze being deadly to cats, but I honestly didn't know that rock salt was hazardous to pets before reading this thread. Good to know.

Once again, sorry for your loss.

Sorry for your loss. I'd be devastated if it happened to my cat. Never knew rock salt could do that.

Dangers of using rock salt around cats
In addition to what's stated in the above article, many commercial grade de-icers include other, more toxic chemicals in order to extend the de-icing capabilities to lower temperatures. These compounds may include magnesium chloride, similar to Epsom salts, and even ethylene glycol, aka anti-freeze.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your dear pet. Recently lost one of mine as well, though to more natural causes, apparently.
