Little Johnny's class was having a spelling bee so in order to prepare the teacher was was giving them words to spell and use in a sentence.
The first word was stupid. Little Suzy raised her hand and replied, "Stupid, S-T-U-P-I-D, Little Johnny sure is stupid."
"Very good," replied her teacher, "not very nice but it makes good sense"
The next word was dumb.
Again little Suzy raised her hand and was called upon. "Dumb, D-U-M-B. Little Johnny isn't only stupid but he's dumb too!"
Again the teacher tells her this isn't very nice but it was the correct use of the word.
Finally the teacher asks who can spell dictate. With this little Johnny raises his hand and is called upon.
"Dictate, D-I-C-T-A-T-E. Little Suzy might think I'm stupid, she may even think I'm dumb, but man, she sure love how my dictate!"
