Socials?

I understand, from time to time, there are social gatherings for hobbyists. I would guess a meet and greet event? Not sure how you would do this given the need for descrection. But, if they do occur, I would assume they are invite only. How would one get on that invite list? Sounds like they could be a lot of fun.

Or is this like The Fight Club? First rule of Fight Club is you don't talk about Fight club :-)
