The Double Life – How Much Do We Love It?

Many of us here lead a sort of double life.

This is a question I’ve asked before, and I think still applies….

Our friends, family, business associates and/or significant others may have no idea what we have going on behind closed doors – both boys and girls. Our friends may not know there are any doors beyond where fun stuff goes. And most of us want to keep it that way.

The sexy stuff is obviously what drives the game.

But is a small part of the appeal of the double life the idea that we know something special that others don't know about us?

How much, if at all, do we like the secrets, the casual mis-direct, the secret assignation, and the showering of scents? Or is it something you don't ever think about?

Are secrets just so much fun? Or is it something else?

This is all temporary for me, soon this will pass. I am going to say that the lifestyle is what makes it thrilling. I love all thrills and adventures. I’ve done so many things in this hobby that I don’t think I would’ve done in the real world.

Being around luxurious things, nice hotels, going out, meeting like minded people and being pampered is what I truly enjoy. No one but a very very few close friends know what I do.

The thrill is what ticks me, it’s kind of...... addicting, to be honest

There is an admitted thrill in doing things that are out of the ordinary, especially when the RW can be mundane. Surely you’ve felt this during your forays in the hobby? I know I have.

However, it adds to the variety of life and adds some interest to our experiences. Let me know if/when you want to indulge. I occasionally pop in.

Umm . . .No. The sneaky stuff is not a driver or turn-on for me. Rather, it is a necessary partr of participating in the Hobby in the context of my RW life.

I have a number of constraints in the way the RW interacts with the moving parts of my daily living. I look at The Hobby as a way for me to exert some small measuire of controle over a small part of my RW life; I can commit to a session and make the investment in time and the donation. At the sdame time, when oppertunity and hobby resources coincide, I can choose to not act.

There is an admitted thrill in doing things that are out of the ordinary, especially when the RW can be mundane. Surely you’ve felt this during your forays in the hobby? I know I have.

However, it adds to the variety of life and adds some interest to our experiences. Let me know if/when you want to indulge. I occasionally pop in.

I definitely agree with ICU! I never tell any of my RW friends about my hobby activities.

I am single but have a young daughter, she is old enough to know about sex,but is nosy and because of her questions I have rarely brought women home. I do not want her or anyone else to know this side of me and will preferable never let this part of my life out to the real world.

Last year while walking around the grocery store a provider I had seen in the past recognized me, walks up to me and says I need to see her again. My daughter starts in with the questions on the way home. I hate the aspect of sneaking around as I feel if I am lying to my daughter if she starts in on the questions.

Actually, I hate it. But, I need the intimacy so...
