A “Where To Stay” Thread

Been a while since I visited KC. I’ve stayed in Overland Park and by the airport (Tiffany Springs). Both areas brought its own amount of requests but I wanted to know which area you think is the best? Between the two...

Airport. Parking sucks at the plaza.

there are a few and far between safe zones scattered around town. I'd steer clear of Armour or North Kansas City, Riverside or the Casinos. But you may be ok in Kansas city, Kansas off of 635 between I-70 and the Legends. Overland park is 50/50 depends on the chain. If you need help scouting let me know.

The legends is iffy. But. Theres a couple of hotels in the plaza with free, no ticket parking.

But, back to Danielle's question: OP or Airport.

For OP, the hotel must be carefully selected. But there's a fair number of acceptable hotels. Please check in the gals room for specific data.

Airport has over 2 dozen hotels to hide in.

Both locations have a large count of out of town business folks mid-week.

For OP, there's probably more local guys closer to OP, as airport is a bit of drive, unless the guys live/work Northland.

I looked at the plaza area and it’s so expensive. Or I’m cheap. But I stayed in Overland Park twice at two different hotels and didn’t have a problem other than being too far away from some guys. Same with Tiffany Springs. Since this is a weekend trip maybe I should try somewhere local? I’ll just ask in the ladies area
