You probably don't have to re-review anyone as I'm guessing that the major complaint that you got was that you didn't provide enough info in "The Rest of the Story" section of your review(s) and that's what most guys are really looking for as that's where they feel they can make an informed decision on whether they want to go see the provider or not.....If that's all there is to the quality of the review, then you can send the comments to me (or HSP) along with the link(s) to your review(s) and either of us can add those comments to your review(s) so that the guys can see what you thought of the provider and having booked a session with her.....

And don't feel bad because everyone here was a newbie at one time (errrr, except me of course as I was born an already experienced review writing dawg----lol).....Everyone had to go through a period when they had to figure out how to post a good review that gave the dawgs what they were looking for.....On ASPD (a board which most of us belonged to prior to its death and prior to us migrating over here), there were several threads/posts where a newbie could go to to get an idea of how to write a review.....I had one such post in my signature line.....I was actually about to start a thread in the staff area and ask if anyone there has posted any review writing threads that I can take a look at.....I tried to go to the other board that has my posts from ASPD, but the links in my signature don't work because the board is dead.....If I can't find one here on ECCIE, then one day I'll just sit down and draft a review writing post and put it in my signature line, as well as stick it on the review forums.....

Thanks for posting reviews and don't give up as you'll get better at it over time just like everyone else.....

Big C,

I got SOME of your old sig line material off the eraps web site. For some reason I am unable to get the one about how to write reviews, but I am working on it. I think that thread has been deleted or moved.

Obtaining Provider Status and the Rules for Posting

I get a lot of emails/PMs from ladies wanting to get permission to post in the ads sections on several of the boards, so I thought I'd post this for the ladies and hopefully I can answer some of the questions that ladies have about the process and policies for becoming a registered provider here on ASPD.....

With very few exceptions here on ASPD, you'll have to be set to provider status in order to post in the Provider's Ads & Specials Sections in the cities which have an ads section.....The reason for this is because only providers are allowed to post ads, and the fellas are not allowed to post ads on their behalf....As I said, MOST of the ads sections are restricted and you have to be set to provider to post there (which means the guys are normally kept out of there by virtue of the fact that they aren't set to provider).....Now for the true point of this post:

HOW TO OBTAIN PROVIDER STATUS:

You will need to contact your local moderator(s) first and ask them to have you set to provider status so that you can be allowed to post your ads and specials in the ads sections.....The reason that you should contact your local moderator(s) is simple...Each area has different criteria that they use/require before a lady can be set to provider status, and your local (home based) mods will know what they require of you before you get set to provider status....Further, usually the moderator(s) from your local area will know you, or maybe know someone who knows you, and he/they may be able to vouch for you as a legit provider in which case the process is expedited and you'll get set to provider a lot quicker....ALWAYS REMEMBER TO SEND YOUR EMAIL FROM THE EMAIL ADDRESS THAT'S ON YOUR ASPD PROFILE AS THAT IS THE ONLY WAY WE CAN BE SURE OF WHO IT IS THAT WE'RE COMMUNICATING WITH....FURTHER, NO ACTION WILL BE TAKEN ON YOUR REQUEST UNLESS YOU SEND YOUR REQUEST IN FROM THE EMAIL ADDRESS ON YOUR PROFILE ! ! ! !

Here's what I require from ladies that are homebased in one of the areas that I moderate and who contact me requesting to be set to provider status so that they can post in the ads sections:

1: Send an email to me at clock93761@aol.com, and request that you be set to provider status........You will need to send an email to make the request and not a PM as it's easier to handle things of this nature via email.....ALWAYS REMEMBER TO SEND YOUR EMAIL FROM THE EMAIL ADDRESS THAT'S ON YOUR ASPD PROFILE AS THAT IS THE ONLY WAY WE CAN BE SURE OF WHO IT IS THAT WE'RE COMMUNICATING WITH....FURTHER, NO ACTION WILL BE TAKEN ON YOUR REQUEST UNLESS YOU SEND YOUR REQUEST IN FROM THE EMAIL ADDRESS ON YOUR PROFILE ! ! ! !.....On many occasions, I know the lady asking to be set to provider status, either through personal knowledge, or through someone that I know and trust very well who has seen the lady BCD and has reported on her either to me via backchannel or he has a review posted of her somewhere....Either way, if I know this lady asking to be set to provider, then I'll send an email to support vouching for her as a legit provider, and then nothing further is needed as she is usually set to provider status within a 24 hour period based on my recommendations alone....In the event that I don't know the lady, then we continue on with Step 2 in the process.....

2: Actually, this is pretty much a continuation of Step 1 as it's what's required in your initial email to support and myself....In your email to support you will need to provide them with the following:

a: The link to your website, if you have one available;

b: The link(s) to your current reviews on one of the major boards such as TER, that unnamed one, DEFINITELY ASPD, Escorts.com, or some other one that's pretty much a national board....*****Note, you have to submit the actual link(s) and not just state that you have reviews on whatever board.....Just saying you have reviews on those boards will not be sufficient.....You're making the request to be set to provider, so do some of the work and submit the link(s) to your reviews.....I shouldn't have to go find the reviews, and I will not do so*****.....If you don't have reviews on any of the national boards, then you may have something on local boards, of which I might be familiar with and I may know some of the guys who are on that board....You can supply the links to reviews on local boards, but the verifcation process may take a bit longer than it would if you had reviews from well known hobbyists on national boards....

c: The name(s) of current prominent ASPD members who can vouch for you as legit....What constitutes a "prominent member" for me is someone who is a well known and respected hobbyist by me, which means that that individual has reviews on the boards, and is also an active participant on ASPD (and usually in a city that I moderate, but that's not a set in stone criteria)....One of the main reasons for keeping me in the loop is that I can let support know if I'm familiar with whichever member you use as a reference and I'll contact that member to vouch for you...This will help expedite matters for you and help get you set to provider status a lot quicker....

Just in case you haven't figured it out yet, keeping the local mods in the loop when you have a request about your ASPD profile is a good thing because you can often get things expedited and get your situation handled a lot smoother because the local mods generally always have a say so in your account anyway....Going straight through to support, without sending the local moderator a "cc" copy of your email to support will generally only slow down your request because the support crew will generally forward your request to the local mod and inform you that they're waiting to hear back from the local moderator before taking any further actions....So once again, you should always keep your local moderator(s) in the loop whenever you contact support with a request (especially if that request concerns something about your profile/handle).....

Anyway, once you have been verified and we're satisfied with the information that you've supplied, then you'll be set to provider status and you'll be able to post your ads in any city on ASPD with an ads section....This means that you will not have to get the permission of the individual area mod(s) when you want to post in their city's ads section....However, there are rules for posting your ads and you'll be expected to abide by the rules or be subjected to having points assessed for violating them (which with enough points assessed in a one year span will lead to being suspended or even banned)....

RULES FOR POSTING PROVIDER'S ADS:

First and foremost, ads belong in the ads sections and not in other sections (i.e., DON'T POST YOUR ADS IN THE DISCUSSIONS SECTIONS ! ! ! ! !).....I see more ladies getting in trouble by violating this simple rule and I have had to sometimes assess points because they continue to violate this rule even after I have given a prior warning to them without assessing points....I have a very simple piece of advice I give ladies all the time....I simply tell the ladies that if it looks like an ad, smells like an ad, tastes like an ad, or reads like an ad, then it's probably an ad.....Posting something that tells people your availability, contact info, rates, or any combination of those options is probably going to be considered an ad and if it's posted in the wrong section, then you might get your wrist slapped for violating the "free ads posting rules."....It's simple, if there's a question of whether your post will be considered an ad or a regular discussion post, then it's best to contact the local moderator for a decision on it....You'll find that MOST of the ASPD staff is always willing to assist the members here and they're always generally willing to respond to you in a very professional and respectful manner (but we are all humans and we all have lives outside the ASPD board so remember that when contacting us....In other words, we have our bad days and our good days just like you do.).....

Next, the rule is that you're only allowed to post in a particular city's ads section once every seven days....That seems simple enough, but for some reason, people get confused by that and will on some occasions post more than once and when it's found out, sometimes a wrist will get slapped.....If it continues, remember the comments I made above about points being assessed and possible suspensions/banning for violating the "free ads" rules.....Now, there's a special status of ladies that are set to "Sponsor Provider Status.".....These ladies contribute to the site financially and have therefore been given a section to post their ads in some of the cities....Sponsor Providers are allowed to post unlimited posts in the Sponsor Providers Sections and can post in as many Sponsor Providers areas as they wish....If any of you would like to be given the status as a Sponsor Provider, just send an email to advertising@eraps.net, and copy to your local moderator, and they'll get you set up for becoming a Sponsor Provider.....

The Provider's Ads & Specials Sections is not meant to be a Discussions Sections and as such, no replies are allowed to your posts there....If you post an ad and later realize that something in your ad no longer applies, or you discover an error in your ad, then just remember that you have a sixty (60) minute window of opportunity to make any corrections to your post....If your sixty minutes has lapsed, then you'll have to contact the local moderator(s) and get him to make any changes that you want to have made to your ad....In any event, do not post a reply to your ad because doing so will mean that you've violated the free ads posting rules on two counts....First, you would have posted a second time in a city's ads section in less than seven days....Second, you would have violated the rule that I just stated in that you're not allowed to post replies to your ads....Thus, you could be subjected to additional penalties and get closer to being suspended/banned....

You're only allowed to post your ads in a maximum of five (5) cities at one time....If you post in more than five cities, it will be considered as spamming the board and your ads will be pulled and you'll be assessed points.....Again, this limit does not apply to Sponsor Providers who can post unlimited ads in cities where they have a forum for Sponsor Providers....

Sometimes ladies will offer doubles and/or they'll travel with another lady on tour....If you post in your ad about offering doubles or that you'll be touring with another lady, and you mention that lady's name, then that one post is going to be considered as an ad for BOTH ladies in that city, which means that neither lady will be allowed to post in that city's ads section for another seven days....One caveat that I'd like to add here though is that this is the way that I handle that issue in the cities that I moderate, and I know that it is the way several other moderators handle this issue in the cities that they moderate because I asked and that's what they told me that they do.....This is NOT a boardwide policy (at least not that I'm aware of), so again, you should contact the moderator for the areas that you want to post in to get a ruling.....

Next, pursuant to the rules set by the board owner (actually, ALL the rules here are set by the board owner), LADIES ARE NOT ALLOWED TO POST IN ANY OF THE REVIEW SECTIONS ! ! ! ! !.....This means you can't post a reply to say thank you, or anything in the reviews sections.....If you want to respond to a review, then the proper way to do so would be to post in the Discussions Section and link the review in your post....If something has been posted in error in your review and you'd like to have it corrected, then you must either contact that member, or contact the moderator to have the correction made.....I generally prefer that you send an email to both me and the person who submitted the review as I rarely make changes to a post without the request of the poster himself.....It's done on a case-by-case basis but just best that you contact both me and the reviewer with your request to edit your review.....

ALWAYS REMEMBER TO SEND YOUR EMAIL FROM THE EMAIL ADDRESS THAT'S ON YOUR ASPD PROFILE AS THAT IS THE ONLY WAY WE CAN BE SURE OF WHO IT IS THAT WE'RE COMMUNICATING WITH....FURTHER, NO ACTION WILL BE TAKEN ON YOUR REQUEST UNLESS YOU SEND YOUR REQUEST IN FROM THE EMAIL ADDRESS ON YOUR PROFILE ! ! ! !

*****Ladies, you've gone this far to request provider status so that you can post your ads, and we've set your handle to provider status for that reason.....We simply ask that you post something on the board once every 90 days.....If you do not post something at least once every 90 days, it doesn't have to be an ad, but you do have to post something, then the system will revert you back to your previous status prior to obtaining provider and you will not be able to post in the ads sections again until you've been reset to provider*****So do us all a favor and visit the board and post at least once every 90 days.....That's not too much to ask and doesn't put such a strain on you to participate on the board here.....Thanks.

Have a great day.....Take care.

A Newbie's Approach To Meeting the Ladies....

In lieu of a thread on the NOLA board started by one of the ladies down there who was having a problem with the newbies contacting her and wanting an immediate appointment, I thought I'd post here some guidelines for the fellas to use when they contact a lady for the first time....This is only a guideline that I'm suggesting for the fellas, but it should help you get through the initial fear and screening process when you're trying to meet the current lady of your dreams....LOL

So here goes:

1. Make your first contact memorable.....Be concise, honest, friendly and open.....If you just want info (shopping?) be honest.....If you want to schedule an appointment, suggest best time for you (don't say "How about some time next week?") Mention fee if you don't already know, but don't ask specific questions about it.....Don't be graphic or specific-EVER.....

2. Tell her a little bit about yourself....Tell her where you heard about her....Don't waste her time--she gets plenty of inquiries, make yours stand out.....Talking on the phone or via e-mail gives you a great idea what's she going to be like in person.....If she's friendly and nice, she will be in person.....It’s also your chance to start building her perception of you.....Be respectful.....These girls are PEOPLE.....Treat them like you would a girlfriend or lover and they will respond positively.....It sounds simple, but most guys are pushy and rude.....

3. If you're already seen a few ladies and you send the one you're wanting to meet with some references (and MOST ladies will accept references from other providers), do her a huge favor and check with the ladies you want to use and make sure that those ladies are okay with being used as references....Many ladies don't have a problem with you using them as references, but unfortunately, there are a few ladies who DO have a problem with it and for whatever reason, they will not give out references on the gentlemen that they've seen.....Thus, checking with someone prior to giving them out as a reference will save everyone involved a great deal of time and frustration....

This is by no means an all inclusive list and I will add to this, or subtract from this list as I see fit....But I do believe that at a minimum, following these guidelines for an initial contact with most of the ladies will get you a quicker response from her....An getting a quicker response from the lady, especially if she's got a positive feeling about you, will generally get you closer to your overall objective of a meeting....

Have a great day....Take care.

Hey Mac,

Thanks.....It could have been that my 'puter was running slow or something so I might try again later to see if I can get that review writing post.....In the meantime, I found this link which should be very helpful for people writing reviews and I might just have to plagiarize it and put it into my signature line:

Hey, when you're judgment proof, it's fun and easy to steal things.....lol

Now, remove the "aspd" in the link and replace it with "eraps" and, viola, it takes you to your post. See link below.

The ladies can do the same thing if they have old aspd links to reviews on their web site.

If I remember correctly, your post on How to Write Reviews was posted as a sticky. It appears from the eraps web site that all old aspd stickies have been removed from the forums. I think that is the reason I can't pull up that post. I receive the following message when trying to pull up that particular post.

Mac92451, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
