So the market is down, am I the only one that gets excited about it and buys stocks when they are down? I just went on a shopping spree haha.
Lexxxy- You are a brave woman! I don't have a fucking clue as what to buy or sell.

I was waiting for it to happen as well.

Bought away.

I have been looking and a cheaper stock where the company has been around a while.

I seen it go down and hopped on it rather quick.

I am waiting for gold to go up again due to the drop and will sell that I am thinking.

ETA: It is a damn 2 for 1 sale on some of the best stocks on the market that will go back up lol.

For sure, I am loving it! I am treating it like a panty sale BUY BUY BUY BUY just because they are cheap doesn't mean they aren't worth more. *Giggle*
I scooped up Sbux & GE WOOT!
So pissed, I bought my stocks last week! Bought some BRK B, DAL and PEP. Today was a bloodbath!
Buffet is sitting on 47 B in cash and the stock is still shitting the bed. Probably will buy some more, and look for some emerging markets and real estate assets.

It's a loss for many.
The reality is 401 K can limit investments.

401 K = Their choice.

It reminds me of communism to a degree, much like Google searches, at current date...

Investments are "mad money." (the same used for escorts...)

Good luck to all....

And politics is playing a huge part of it. Republicans want to embarrass Obama after the bin Laden thing, and so they're doing what they can to accomplish that and cause him to face public unrest. Some of it, he deserves.

This recovery has been too mild, no real jobs came back, and very little lasting public confidence was restored. We have a national economy that relies too heavily on consumer spending, which is rarely very meaningful.

Things are bad back in Ohio, but here in New York State, the future looks very bleak. New York tax revenue is principally based on income tax, and the majority of that comes from Wall Street. When Wall Street tanks, so does New York. Look for New York's revenue picture to dim. And government is like a hungry baby crying to be fed. They'll make the revenue needs up elsewhere (other taxes), and that will hit people working all over the State. You'll never see them make do with less.

BUY! BUY!.....BYE!But seriously, it's a good time to buy in, but unless you're an expert, fight that panic instinct. Buffet has great advice, he didn't make a boatload of money by being anidiot.
in regards to stocks...Im as nervous as a longtailed cat in room full of rocking chairs!!!

Honestly, I bought stocks like crazy, I am young, I have plenty of time to wait. Instead of buying a new Prada clutch and sunglasses I put that money (actually less than I would have paid for both) into stocks instead. I think it was a better decision than stuff I will just let my mother barrow or hand down to my little cousins in like 4 months. I did however think twice about not getting the clutch, I did find a really good deal on it and it is pretty.
