You can message them directly in open chat without anybody seeing it but it is easy to put in public if you are not careful.
As for private chat, I think you can go back and forth without them accepting a friend request.
The app is a PITA and is as flaky as the girls there.

Most you can message without being friends. Some go into settings and select messages from only friends.

Moco use to be a goldmine for cheap dates. Glad some are still finding girls on there.

this is getting difficult. she has not replied to a friend request (one other did, who I never contacted! ), and her name is now modified.. I'll keep trying.
