Cuomo .. the assault weapon ban is nothing new, most responsible gun owners, collectors, and hunters can and will tolerate it. Registration is more or less a mild consequence for the latest killings, guarding against proven nut cases being able to obtain assault weapons is fine with me, and should be done regardless of days past ... smaller clips/magazines are ok with me too. I'm a one shot one kill specialist anyway ... all in all, reasonable.

So when a Democrat governor does it, it's fine and Constitutional. When a Republican governor does it, he is "shredding" the Constitution.
