Meanwhile, in Texas....

Attorney General Greg Abbott, the GOP frontrunner to replace retarded Rick Perry as Governor of the asylum that is known as Texas is making campaign appearances with and has enthusiastically accepted the endorsement of also-ran 70's rocker, narcissist, megalomaniac and general lunatic Ted Nugent. Nugent, who recently called the President of the United States a "subhuman mongrel" introduced Abbott at a rally in Denton, Texas a few days ago. Nugent, who among other things, has admitted to engaging in (prohibited subject) was whisked away from the Denton appearance before reporters could get him to say something outrageously stupid and provocative although why remains a mystery since Texas voters are obviously so fucking stupid it could not possibly have made a difference.. Makes you proud to be a republican doesn't it boys? All you morons chime in now and tell us about how much you admire Ted Nugent.....

Here's the story from the Dallas Morning News: Note the comments by Abbott's spokesperson: they might not agree with calling the President of the United States a "subhuman mongrel" (what Hitler called the Jews before he started exterminating them) or with the idea of having sex with (prohibited subject) but nonetheless, Nugent is a fine American who defends the Constitution (as long as you are not [prohibited topic]). Note the irony that you can't even discuss Ted Nugent's history with (prohibited topic) on a whore board but the politician who is almost certainly going to be the next governor of Texas is using him to garner votes with the idiotic electorate in Texas.

AUSTIN — Democrats and women’s groups assailed Republican Greg Abbott’s choice of Ted Nugent to appear with him Tuesday, citing the rocker’s abusive name-calling and early penchant for relationships with underage girls.

Abbott’s campaign for governor said Monday he might not agree with some of Nugent’s language but praised the Motor City Madman as an avid defender of the Constitution. The campaign did not comment regarding Nugent’s inappropriate affairs from 30 years ago.

As attorney general, Abbott has touted his office’s Internet Crimes Against Children division, which works with law enforcement to identify predators who go online seeking young women. Calling it his cybercrimes unit, Abbott frequently mentions its efforts to arrest those who would solicit minors.

The Lone Star Project, a Democratic group, slammed Abbott for pledging to protect young Texans while booking appearances with Nugent at two North Texas events to highlight the start of early voting.

“Greg Abbott has crisscrossed our state publicly promising to protect Texas women and children while he’s been making plans to appear at campaign events with an admitted sexual predator,” said Lone Star Project director Matt Angle.

Nugent is a polarizing figure who became famous for his hard-rocking songs of the 1970s.

In a 1998 documentary on VH1 Behind the Music, Nugent admitted having affairs with several underage girls. “I was addicted to girls. It was hopeless. It was beautiful,” he said.

He also said he had worked to charm their parents.

“I got the stamp of approval of their parents,” Nugent said on the video. “I guess they figured better Ted Nugent than some drug-infested punk in high school.”

More recently, Nugent has been hailed for his outspoken support for gun rights, his hyperpatriotism and his tirades against Democratic leaders. An avid hunter, he is on the National Rifle Association’s board.

He’s also earned critics for his no-holds-barred statements, including calling Hillary Rodham Clinton a “worthless bitch” and President Barack Obama a “communist-nurtured subhuman mongrel.”

“Ted Nugent is a forceful advocate for individual liberty and constitutional rights — especially the Second Amendment rights cherished by Texans,” Abbott spokesman Matt Hirsch said Monday.

“While he may sometimes say things or use language that Greg Abbott would not endorse or agree with, we appreciate the support of everyone who supports protecting our Constitution,” Hirsch said.

Opponents pounced on the joint appearances, scheduled Tuesday morning at a Denton restaurant and later that afternoon at a Wichita Falls coffeehouse.

“Texans deserve better than a statewide officeholder and candidate running for governor who welcomes Ted Nugent and his repugnant comments,” said Texas Democratic Party chairman Gilberto Hinojosa.

“I can’t help but recall the old saying, ‘Tell me who your friends are, and I’ll tell you who you are,’” Hinojosa said.

Grace Garcia, executive director of Annie’s List, which raises money for female Democratic candidates, called on Abbott to cancel the appearances.

Garcia said it was inappropriate for Abbott to appear with someone who has described feminists and female politicians as “varmints,” “fat pigs” and “dirty whores.”

“It’s a lie to say he’s on our side and then turn around and accept the support of someone so outspokenly anti-women like Ted Nugent,” she said.

Ted Nugent is only saying out loud what poor people think but are to chicken to say.

Ted Nugent is a champion of the second amendment but that does not make him a role model or a scholar. Why does the left insist on the ole double standard? We could talk about Cynthia McKinney and her rants against Jews (she is a black democrat), Al Sharpton putting Jews down with similar words (he is a black democrat), Jesse Jackson referring to NYC as hymie town (he is a democrat), how about what people said about the NRA after Newtown, CT. Blood on their hands, murderers, child killers and this came from democrat politicians but you forget that.
