Challenge for the Members of ECCIE

TrulySummer's Avatar
I did not get permission to post this thread, so I hope it is OK that I did. IF not, then please pull it MODS. I would like to challenge the members of ECCIE to try to get 61 members or more in the next 6 days. IF we can get that many members, this site will have 3000 members.

That means ECCIE has grown faster in less than a year than any other board did within its first year. And ECCIE is not and will not be a year old until March.

The people that are running Eccie seem to be doing things right, and they don't have all of the screwups that aspd has.

I don't think it will be a problem to accomplish this task. Most of Upstate NY is on its way over hear right now.

TrulySummer, that's a wonderful idea. BTW...your avatar pic is gorgeous and infectious. Every time I see it I catch myself smiling.
I keep sending folks over, I can keep doing it
TS, this site is fresh air after all the dust stirred up over yonder. I was just told about ECCIE by a favorite provider, and she is not a member here yet! One more closer to goal!

The idea is to attract a quality membership, not just a lot of members. So far, eccie has succeeded very well at that. Growing fast is not as important as longevity with high quality content.

There are plenty of boards that have accomplished that but all the same. I have about 30 or so that will be signing up this week and they have probably double that and so on and so on. I am also adding the eccie banner to 19 websites. That should not be a problem to reach 3000 plus.

Congrats on having a nice board with current software and good hosting. You all have made some great decisions so far. Keep up the good work.

You need a section for Canada. I know a few ladies in Ontario and Vancouver that I can invite. Or did I miss it?

I think this board will be around for a long while to come. Please remember ASPD started somewhere as this board had to also. It will take some time to build this site to contain alot of reviews and great info, but we are off to a great start and nothing wrong with adding a bit of momentum here and there...

With all of the new ad rules on aspd today, should providers just link to their eccie ad to get their information across to their customers?

Whether the membership joins at a fast pace or a slow pace has no bearing at all on the "quality". I think the quality of the membership will be more of a trait that is mimicked by by the users following the example set forth by the administration of the board.

How about 4,000 or 5,000!

Congrats ECCIE for such a great start. With a very competent crew, a gracious owner, and hobbyists looking for a quality site, how could you go wrong. I look forward to see the identity ECCIE carves out for itself in the years to come. It's a work in progress but make no mistake about it, it still takes work and dedication by all.
Maybe we should have a contest to see who guesses closest to the number of members on the anniversary date. Of course there should be a prize.
