Going to Start Traveling....

I'm going to start traveling to Austin a couple times a month.
What area of Austin is the best to stay in?
Both for your convenience; and for comfort as well.

Stay away from I35 near 183 or 290.. very bad area

If your coming from San Antonio Ben White (HWY 71) & I-35 area would be a perfect location

Yes coming from SA and never have been to Austin. What are some of the spots I'm going to want to see if I have any spare time? Maybe I'll do an Auction for an evening of Bliss? Spend some time out and then go back to the room for FUN!
