A good time to visit with a hot friend?

It’s been a while since I’ve visited ND, however I have very fond memories...I was hoping to get some reassurance that the end of August/beginning of September would be a good time to visit with my hot friend who’s never been? We enjoy each other as much as we enjoy new friends and would love to have a good time so should we visit Fargo (and/or Bismarck) at this time? How are things with covid there?
