There are many ways to be legit and get an apartment the legit way as a provider. I even have my own company that I hope to transition to once I get the taxes down on it and show that I making enough. I just mentioned keeping my day job because it does help avoid hassle. and not raise any flags. All I need are my pay check stubs.

Plenty of us have worked out of hotels just fine. There is nothing wrong with an extended stay. It can be a great stepping stone IF she busts her ass and starts getting on the right track. Seems like the OP is in a position to help her with that, even if it is only advice and guidance.
The funny thing about finances isn't how much money you have or make, it can be more about longevity and history and patterns.

I don't run into Mark Cuban in the hallway or anything, but I live in a pretty good place. There are 3 providers I know of that have worked out of my complex (which shocked me the first time I found out when I asked for the address and it was in the next building).
