This is a shout out to everyone that remembers most of the above people and events b/c you lived thru them; especially the women with whom having such shared memories provides a welcomed connection that children from the 80's and (God help they're becoming adults now!!) the 90's recall only from their history classes. It's a club and a venue that marries all of us and provides a point of comfortable reference when we can meet and talk about things that shaped each of us.

To this day I find women that share such common events with me more fun and much more comfortable an experience. Hats off to you ladies!

I lived through all of it and remember those things on the list very well. I actually saw Jerry & The Grateful Dead at Woodstock and remember most of it

I haven't been hobbying that long, but I'm not interested in seeing 24 year olds. It's older women that I prefer...

I am sorry but i am not familiar with any of the listed artists but maybe its because I am a hip hop/reggae/Rb fan. So my familiarity would be Old school hip hop like Run DMC, beastie boys or reggae Bob Marley, Capleton, Buju Banton or rb Michael Jackson, Prince, Lionel Richie. But I always give respect to those who have walked ahead of me and paved it forward

Get Smart and Misssion Impossible were the coolest shows on TV (and you actually had to get up to change the channels).
The Frito Bandito - and for those of you from Southern California: Cal Worthington and his dog Spot.
When you had to go the house of your friend with the cool parents to hear the new Cheech & Chong album, because "that filth" was not allowed in your house.
When it was considered wussy for a hockey player to wear a helmet or mask (even the goalie).

Even earlier TV:

The Lone Ranger
Sky King
Howdy Doody

I remember getting chills when Elvis appeared on Ed Sullivan. I didn't know why I was excited, but I was.
Samford and Son, Archie Bunker, The jeffersons. While not living thru that period I enjoyed the reruns
have seen the dead many, many times....even went to Willie's picnic, to see them without Jerry....listening to the dead right now...long time deadhead....and if you can't attach they lyrics of "all the young dudes, hey dudes" to the list....then "get outta here"...lol
