Deaths due to terrorist attacks vs gun homicides in the U.S.

Since the attacks on 9/11/2001 there have been 74 deaths in the U.S. due to terrorist attacks compared to deaths by gun homicides of 150,000 since 2001.

We have gone to war with two countries, had military involvement in others and spend hundreds of billions on homeland security. . . We have done next to nothing about Gun violence. Damn shame.

True, death is death. People die annually from all kinds of causes including guns. People defend themselves with guns others take their own lives with guns and still others are killed by guns as a result of accidental shootings, such as hunting accidents. these numbers are from 2002 up to 2011, during that time frame the numbers are 30 compared to 115,997
