And I'd rather eat out a relatively low-volume provider, which is assured when her price point hits a certain level ($350-400 per hour is my sweet spot). If she's charging $200 per hour, she's still probably bringing in $1000/day and her manager is getting his cut, too. Give me a truly independent provider at a higher rate any day.Interesting conclusions drawn here. I think that you are somewhat naive to think that higher end ladies are not just as, or more so, managed as the working class ladies. And I won't even touch your dining absurdities. My experience has shown that at a certain monetary level it becomes more about "them" than me. The visual may be slightly more of a guarantee. The service however is not. And to hell with that. The trick is finding the balance.
I'd be really interested to know if there's a correlation between a hobbyist's dining habits and his preferences here. I won't eat at Taco Bell, favoring MiCo or Taco Diner instead. I don't really eat at the super-high end restaurants though. Biff, Chung, are you running the risk of E. coli by eating at Ponchos or are you paying a little more to avoid the bloody stool?
